David
Pascal currently plays electric and acoustic basses with Red Fish
Blue Fish, The Jazz Police, and the Scott Lindenmuth Group. In addition he has
worked since 1975 as a bassist in show and club bands, recording studios, theatre
orchestras, and as backing for national acts including The Shirelles, The Platters, Diane
Schuur, Marlene Shaw, Rich Little, John Faddis, Larry Elgart, Matt Cattingub, and Bob
Brozman. His recording credits as a bassist, producer, engineer, and synthesizer programmer include work with The Jazz Police, Modern Angels, The Toucans, Tony Brown, Roadside Attraction, Redeker, Christopher Boscole, Room to Move, Tonya Perkins, and Danny Deardorff. In addition, David has worked as a composer, producer, and sound designer for regional Emmy winning projects for KOMO TV, award-winning CD-ROM, radio, and theatres including Seattle Repertory Theatre, Seattle Children's Theatre, Intiman, ACT, The Empty Space Theatre, Pioneer Square Theatre, New City Theatre, The Group Theatre, Tacoma Actor's Guild, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, and the Club at La MaMa E.T.C. in New York, and was music director of Pioneer Square Theatre's Angry Housewives. David holds a musical engineering degree from the University of Washington. |
