Chris has been
an active professional musician since 1985. He has perfored with Dionne Warwick,
Marvin Hamlisch, the 5th Dimension, the Mills Brothers, Howard Keel, Maureen McGovern, The
Drifters, The Marvelettes and Little Anthony, to name a few.Chris has long been active on the Seattle theatre scene including the long-running Rap Master Ronnie and A... My Name is Alice for the Group Theater, Das Barbecue for A Contemporary Theater (ACT) and Me and My Girl for the 5th Avenue Theater Company. He has played with the touring productions of Victor/Victoria, Hot Shoe Shuffle, and City of Angels, and toured with the New York production of Porgy and Bess.
Chris is not only the first call substitute for many Seattle area jazz groups, including The Jazz Police; he has also played with local greats Tom Collier, Marc Seales, Jabo Ward, Edmonia Jarrett and Bill Ramsey. He was a founding member of Room to Move and Red Fish Blue Fish.
In addition to numerous television and radio commercials, Chris can be heard on the film soundtracks of Dennis the Menace II, Barney's Big Adventure, The Newton Gang and The Wrong Guy.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington.
